Body, design and equipment
The new range of Segway GT scooters guarantees top performance and great riding comfort. The SuperScooter GT2 is the latest model of this series, offering a peak power of 6000 W and dynamic chassis stabilization – Segway Dynamic Traction Control (STDC) that ensures better grip and, ultimately, better safety. Thanks to new 11-inch, 92 mm tubeless tires and adjustable hydraulic suspension with high ground clearance, the scooter can handle any terrain. Enjoy your ride on Hi-Tech tires providing not only a pleasant ride but also less frequent maintenance: the multi-layer inner tire is treated with a self-healing jelly to eliminate puncture risk. The materials used, such as magnesium or aviation-grade aluminum, ensure the rigidity of the entire frame, which predisposes the GT2 to be used in difficult off-road conditions with challenging handling. The unique body design with a battery located in the base brings a low center of gravity and a sophisticated system of cooling channels that reliably dissipate any excess heat generated during operation.
Safety, power and ride quality
After pressing the accelerator lever, the motors providing a total power of 6000 W kick in and allow you to climb slopes at 30% inclination. The two-wheel drive offers a better solution for stability while accelerating and energy efficiency. With its sufficiently powerful electric motor, the SuperScooter GT2 is not afraid of even a steep climb. When riding in a city, you will appreciate smooth power delivery and agility of the scooter. You do not have to worry about your scooter giving up on you somewhere on a long trip. A 90 km range and a top speed of 70 km/h are plenty enough even for a demanding rider. You will enjoy the comfortable chassis and appreciate it particularly on cobblestones or when going over bumps. The scooter is equipped with two hydraulic brakes with ventilated discs of 140 mm diameter. This combination ensures the best possible stability and handling when braking. To make sure you are visible on the road, the scooter is equipped with a front and rear LED light, front and rear turn signals, as well as with E-MARK reflectors. The upgraded 9 W high-luminosity LED light has been designed to illuminate the road ahead of you and improve your visibility to others around you, without disorienting them. It also offers LED DRL (Daytime Running Light) functionality. Moreover, the SuperScooter GT2 is fitted with E-MARK-certified front, side and rear reflectors.
Display and connectivity
The SuperScooter GT2 has a new, full-color, well-arranged PM OLED display right on the dashboard. It displays clearly all the necessary information, such as speed and range, the active PARK-WALK-ECO-SPORT-RACE mode or the most powerful BOOST mode, in which the scooter accelerates from 0 to 48 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It also displays which lights are on/off, direction lights, front/rear lights, one-wheel drive (1WD) or two-wheel drive (2WD) mode, battery status, cruise control and many other features. The manufacturer also emphasizes safety. The SuperScooter GT2 can be unlocked/locked using the Segway-Ninebot APP. When locking the scooter, this app also activates the anti-theft function for SuperScooter GT2, which triggers the alarm with lights flashing for 3s when there is any slight movement.
